Sample Application Suggestion
Diffrent paints/coatings need diffrent type of strippers and diffrent methodes / techniques. Let's Clean Pty Ltd can supply products and techniques to remove virtually any coatings from virtually any surfaces without virtually no damage to substrate.
We always recommend testings to ensure you have the right product for the job. Test sample pots are available at a minimum cost.
(see also Technical Data Sheet in the download section)

How to do a test sample:
1. Apply a thick layer of 600GL (SoyGel) onto object, approx. 100 x 100mm
2. Apply a thick layer of "Heritage No1" onto object, approx. 100 x 100mm, next to the other sample.
3. Leave for sometime (dwell time between 2 hrs to overnight)
4. Scrape off soften paint carfully with scraper and always wash area with water and scrubbing brush or similar.
5. If some paint remain repeat applications. Sometime you will need a combination of both strippers. As a guideline - 600GL first to remove modern paints, like Acrylics, followed by "Heritage No1" to remove residual old lead paints.

When a large job, do ensure that the area where you do the test are representative of the area as a whole. We recomend to do multiple test through out the whole job as sometimes different paints were used by maintenance contractors.
When doing tests, do experiment with diffrent dwell times of applications.
Note: When doing tests, do always wash off the residues, even though the paint-remover may appear not to have worked. This often unexpectedly produces the hoped-for result!

Project feasability studies:
We can send out our experienced staff to conduct test on site, producing as many test patches as necessary, using equipment and techniques which would be used to carry out the actual job. A written report can be supplied if required.
Note: This is a chargable service. Contact our Office for more information

More options
On some stubborn areas we also have a JOS or encapsulated JOS that can take off more and especially some bricks and concrete surfaces have render or other under cote that will not move with either SoyGel or Heritage No1. Please see link for more information on the JOS Systems.
